I'm a stay at home mother of three who was widowed in 2012. I started my adult life in jewelry sales and management and went on to take corporate positions in finance. I left the corporate world 3 years ago to raise my children. 

I've always loved creating and designing. Throughout my high school career, art and writing were my main focus. While still in high school I had a couple of poems published. With all three of my little ones in school, I've really started to focus on my love for creating. 

My Grandfather started teaching me about woodworking when I was 5 years old. He was a retired engineer from Honeywell who designed parts for the original Apollo Shuttle Missions. I spent most of my summers and weekends with him, and my grandmother, on their 40 acre hobby farm in Nowthen, MN. 

I now have an almost full wood shop where I love spending time when it's warm. We have a scroll saw, a drill press, miter saw, circular saw, table saw, electric sanders, grinding wheels, router(I'm looking forward to getting a table for mine). 

I also have a new craft room! Complete with a sewing station. I have 3 children and 3 pets, 2 cats and a dog. They are my big inspiration for my sewn products. I love making new toys for my cats, I just don't feel like I can ever find what I want in the stores. Watching them go crazy for a new toy, or blanket is so fulfilling. The same can be said for the items in my Children section. If you can't find what you want, make it!

I recently started to add aromatherapy items to my shop. My middle son, Henri, is currently being tested for autism. He has some social anxiety and I've been experimenting with different ways to sooth him. Aromatherapy has been such an a amazing tool. Just having something with the right scents can completely change the atmosphere of a room. Not only that, but it can really help to calm and relax a person. Whether it's an eye pillow, a sachet you leave on a shelf or desk, etc. the calming affect is amazing!

I am also an avid gardener.  We bought our house in 2015 and I have spent countless hours re-landscaping and planting!
